Thank You, Pulsar

This review started over 4 years ago. We purchased it on sale with no immediate need for it. After assembly, a short break-in period and an oil change, it sat for 4+ years waiting to be put into service. That call came after hurricane Berly wrecked the power lines along the gulf coast.

I dusted it off, filled it gas and pulled the rope a couple of times and it came to life powering a 5000 and 6000btu window units, a refrigerator, a stand up freezer, 2 floor fans, a Kreug coffee maker, 75" tv, and some lights as needed for 3 days.

It ran everything we needed on 5 gallons of gas a day. 5 gallons of gas is less than others experienced on a smaller amperage load than we were running. I never measured it, but adding up nameplate wattage from the appliances it was a constant 20-24 Amp load.

After our power was restored, I changed the oil and prepare it for storage so it would be ready for the next time.

I'm really impressed with the PG5250 generator and would recommend it to anyone needing a generator within its operating range.

Thank you again Pulsar, it would have been a miserable 3 days without your product.
